The start yet again

Its been awhile I agree since my last blog. I have and make no excuse, as my sharing or blogging is at my discretion. The start yet again of another season, the bodybuilding season. It’s start has some what caught me off guard. As business and life in general are moving at a good pace.

Roughly 8 years since the inception of what was then Osiris Dynamic Training back in 2004.

To what is currently an 80 membership base, with several trainers and their clients albeit part time on there behalf and still growing. Plans are being drafted as we speak of what will be an even larger Urban-fit Studios. And of couse the Masters Nationals scheduled in July 2012 in Pittsburgh. Last year in Cleveland I placed second. This at the North American Championship  Masters Men heavy weight. I plan on doing better, winning in Pittsburgh!

To live the dream is truly joyful, never mind all the ups and downs and drama. Creating your life as your life is amazing. And yes you’ll find often that time for yourself is not as plentiful. Though knowing you are the generator of all that is and will be. Is a feeling like no other. And so this brief update is to let you know I’m still here growing and enjoying life.

The start yet again, shall always repeat in some fashion. Are you exactly where you would like to be? If not why are you not living the dream?

The coming of the end, marks yet the beginning….

Our world is a cycle…of events. The ebb and flow of what we create, reality. We must take ownership of all that we encounter. As we are the generators of all that is, and believing in this  our salvation shall manifest. I have stumbled many times in my travels. Mostly when my eyes were closed and I lost sight of my belief…mostly in me. I allowed hurt and pain to be my sustenance, and didn’t own my actions.

Sinking to levels I never imagined, my self imposed suffering gave birth. Being specific in my beliefs and owning and letting go. I rose to my lifes creation, I was realistic in knowing that I have choice in all matters.

I believe it was Malcolm X who said “stand for something or you will fall for everything” or words to that effect. I was moved by this qoute, and accept my flaws and failures and moved forward. years pass and as we make mistakes we learn and grow. We are not the same as then,  a time long ago.

I actually am fortunate to have experienced the past. Thus not repeating the ignorance of my youth, or earlier years. The coming of the end, marks yet the beginning of another cycle of life. Every day is opportunity, change for the right reason foster healthy growth. I’m excited for 2012 and have some special goals in mind. You should consider letting go and taking on your life and all that was and is. Move forward be happy believe in yourself and all good things are possible.

Remember this is it…your life is happening right here, right now. On this level this is all there is enjoy, be happy, create! A new beginning is upon us best wishes to all .

Again the end is only the beginning….

Occupy your mind

Occupy your mind…Lately the news is a buzz with this constant battle cry. Occupy, occupy though what is the meaning, the objective, the motivation? Does it have to do with wealth and prosperity? The have and have naughts wealth is merely an instrument that can be used both constructively and destructively. Early ages, people learned to develop an opinion about wealth. While simultaneously associating money with greed, selfishness, and unethical behavior. They judge those whom have wealth as the culprits or problem in and of a society. Many people react emotionally when it comes to issues concerning finances, unconsciously condemning currency itself, or those who have more than others.

Or the manner in which money is spent, people should take on understanding wealth is not a trait. One cannot legitimately judge the value of one’s money. Money being neither good nor bad, obviously an item needed to survive in today’s society. Individual wealth however may be a result of long hours of hard labor. Are we mad at the corporations and such there may be some differences to view. I don’t agree with the bail outs and such and so are we judging or occupy to say what? Some individuals and companies may donate a large percentage of their resources to many charitable causes. Do we want that to be to individuals? Do we want more government, less? A so called even playing field, what? Occupy your mind develop a plan of action. Work in your communities, educate yourself, and seek out possibility. Your bounty may manifest as result of a life spent doing what you love. Nothing happens overnight, and while choice is key. Take a moment to re-evaluate your feelings around money and wealth. Do you equate financial prosperity with independence, security, self-indulgence or even happiness? It is none of that; money itself however at its basic core a tool is enabling us to meet our individual needs. Create a healthier view of money and or wealth by simply acknowledging that while there are have and have not’s, we all have the potential to create lives of beauty.

There is I have said it before and will always say a great deal of power in choice. Occupy your mind and understand that in which is your path and which is just chaos.

Tis the maddness

Well guess what it’s upon us once again. The insanity some call the holidays, starting with I belive black Friday . I heard a story where in they wanted to have something even before black Friday. Not sure what they called it, or if it will even manifest. It’s so funny to walk in stores last month mind you and see the holiday stuff springing up. Can we accelerate the passing of time any faster? Though yes tis the season (maddness) people frantically running about.

Standing in line at midnight increasing personal debt with out care. All under the guise of the holiday spirit? It’s all a blur from black friday to New Years eve day? I suppose I enjoy the holidays as much as the next. To a degree that is, I don’t buy into Christmas sorry, though believe in gathering with family and or friends. I’m spiritual not religious and that should be ok as we create our own realities yes? As time passes rather then getting caught up in defining commercialism perhaps redefining self, or grounding a community would be more joyous. Creating a global calm more appealing.

Though as they say life goes on, 2012 shall resonate soon enough. With it a potential New Year to create a space in which to stand in and for. Enjoy this time however you see fit, remember, respect , be kind and spread the love. Not for the sake of the holidays for the sake of our societies. In the end what really matters?

The slowness of time

The slowness of time can be nourishing to ones being. We’ve learned early on to be quick, moved hurriedly along so that we might accomplish more. There is value in doing more we lurch forward constantly. Ignoring the present moment, being our day we grow stressed, fatigued, tired and disappointed. Our life’s become merely a job and we tell ourselves that someday things will be different perhaps one will retire? We must learn to re-evaluate, rediscover the connotation of life our life. The pleasure to indulge in your day, gives new meaning to your vocation. Doing well or good things manifest as your individual nature.

One can savor his/her life and enable themselves. Be indebted to explore, discover and connect with the fabric of your community. Be a part of the living landscape; be selective in your efforts. And yet open to purge yourself of baggage that benefits you negatively. Fancy your rituals whatever they may be a morning meditation, daily smudging, yoga, song or dance. Avail yourself fully into work, work you enjoy doing. Seek out opportunity to continue to nurture your being. Slow down and smell the proverbially roses along the way.

Keeping your heart and mind open allows for you to connect on levels yet experienced. Be true in yourself and the overflowing god in you shall rein magnificent.
